Movie Review: Wolf Girl and Black Prince

Title: オオカミ少女と黒王子 (Okami Shojo to Kuro Oji / Wolf Girl and Black Prince)
Year of release: 2016
Runtime: 116 min.
Country of origin: Japan

I watched Okami Shojo to Kuro Oji because I had seen the anime already and I wanted to see how the movie turned out. To my surprise the movie has quite a bit of difference when comparing to the anime. I don't know which version is closest to the manga, but each gives off a different vibe due to the changes in plot and in characters.
Anywho, this story comes from a manga that was adapted... well, you know how it goes. The girl pretends to have a boyfriend just so she can fit in with her friends that all have boyfriends. As the girls find it suspicious, she takes a photo of a random guy to say that he is her boyfriend. Unfortunately, she didn't realise that he was from the same school, which makes her ask him to pretend to be his boyfriend but he has a condition, she has to obey him like a dog.
It's pretty clear this is a romantic comedy. It is predictable - though in a good way - but the plot is still good, probably because the whole idea of the story is a nice one.
Didn't have any problems with the acting or the filming or anything of the sort. Which leads me to recommend this to everyone... well, everyone that likes romantic comedy or those who already like this story.
This is all for now. Until next post!
